Sheet steel can be coated with an anti-corrosion zinc coating, and to improve the protective properties and form a more aesthetic appearance, we apply a polymer coating to the rolled steel.

2. RAL polymer coated sheet (matte, glossy), PRINTEK, wrapped
Polymer coated sheet is a cold-rolled steel coil that has been coated with polymer and zinc. The production process of galvanized sheets with a polymer coating starts from cold-rolled steel. After the steel sheets are prepared, we cover them with a protective zinc layer on both sides. Zinc coating resists the rust formation on the surface of the sheet, protecting the sheet from damage. In course of passivating, over the zinc coating, we additionally apply another anticorrosive layer. Now galvanized sheet steel can be painted with polymer dyes. For uniform placement and long service life of the paint on the metal surface, we prime the surface with a special compound. We apply polymer dye (in powder form) using a special spray gun. After that, the galvanized sheet steel with a polymer coating is protected from scratches and chips with varnish.

We can apply a polymer coating on one side of a galvanized sheet, but sometimes customers require painting on both sides of the sheets with a thickness of up to 0.5 mm. Double-sided painted galvanized sheets are used in the production of profiled sheets for fences (C8, C10, C20, C21). And the breadth of application of galvanized steel sheets and the high demand of consumers is determined by a wide range of polymer coating colors (according to the RAL). Moreover, during stamping, drawing or folding, damage (cracks or chipping) of the polymer coating doesn't occur.

Polymer-coated sheet is used as a raw material in the production of metal roofings, sidings, profiled sheets, sandwich panels, drainage systems, etc., and also in construction as a completed building material for fences, roofs, walls or interior decoration of a building.
